Where do they live

Forest Path

Sloths can be found in tropical forests of South and Central America. They are tree-dwelling animals and rarely get out of them. Since sloths are so slow, green algae starts to grow on them. That helps them camouflage into the forest environment so that animals that eat sloths can’t find them. A kind of gross fact, sloths only leave their trees once a week to go to the ground and go to the washroom. They like the humidity because they live in a forest.
